Vampire’s Daughter

Vampire’s Daughter: Mixed Media - Digital and Acrylic Paint, Audio, Scent

Dearest Inmates,

I’m not interested in vampires. There. It’s out. The over saturation has obliterated any possible allure, and nothing more needs to be said on the subject.

Except for this: Can vampires have children? And, if so, do they come out vampires by default? Free pass to eternal life? There’s so much going on here I have to stop or an injury is likely to occur and brain cells can’t come back. But where I left it is that, no, they don’t get to be vampires, but they do inherit all of the memories of the lives their parents had lived, so a vampire’s daughter, for example, would age (obviously, otherwise how could she develop in the womb to begin with? womb…what a word…womb…womb…), but would be tortured by memories of other times, places, and experiences all at once. And that internal discussion produced the painting above.
